Power Plants, Boilers
Mechanical contractor in thermal power plants, industrial utilities, and high-pressure steam boiler systems focusing on mechanical alignment, structural support, and IBR piping.

Sector Operational Overview
Tapan Engineering Service operates as a mechanical contractor in thermal power plants, industrial utilities, and high-pressure steam boiler systems. The core of their work focuses on precision mechanical alignment, structural support, and high-pressure piping execution compliant with Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR).
Core Work Scope & Responsibilities
Fabrication, layout, fitting, and structural support installation for High-Pressure (HP) and Medium-Pressure (MP) steam lines, main feed-water systems, and blowdown networks.
Precision laser alignment and dynamic positioning of boiler feed pumps (BFP), condensate extraction pumps, cooling water pumps, and high-head booster assemblies to eliminate operational vibration.
Positioning, structural alignment, and fit-up of boiler auxiliary components, including headers, steam drums, economizer loops, superheaters, and temporary support structures during plant overhauls or new installations.
Executing high-spec root welding and joint preparations for thick-walled alloy steel piping, undergoing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) such as Radiography Testing (RT) and Hydro-static Pressure Testing.
Executing plant-wide utility connections, including compressed air lines, cooling water loops, and heavy industrial gases (e.g., Oxygen, Nitrogen, APRDS) connecting boiler units to central plant utilities.
